The Fall 2018 book will be Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. I usually read regular paper books but a few people have suggested that I try the audiobook version of this one. Who doesn't love Trevor Noah's voice so I think that I may try an audiobook for a change. We will be discussing the book in January, in Cincinnati and on Facebook Live. Dates TBA.

Why a Book ClubI love a good book. I enjoy reading biographies and books written by journalists on a mission for the right story. Interests in these areas are books written by authors with a diverse perspective or telling the narratives of diverse perspectives. I enjoy reading these types of books because it helps to reinforce the idea that though we are diverse in cultures, languages, physical attributes,etc; we experience so much of the same things in our lives. We also can learn a lot from each other so I enjoy a book with a message as well. Archives
